Community Loneliness Projects
Stronger together: Building connections, Saving lives.
Coregulation Health is now working with local community business owners to create a Loneliness Project, aiming to help fight a loneliness epidemic the surgeon general says is harming and killing millions of adults and children each year, and adding billions of dollars to healthcare costs.
Research shows local businesses with proper training can save lives, add clients, increase income and enjoy more job satisfaction by helping protect their community against loneliness.

“Getting certified to help fight the loneliness epidemic was one of the best professional and personal growth steps I have ever taken. The grand opening media event at our salon was amazing. Local newspapers, magazines, TV stations and city Council members showed up. Loneliness is very high on the media radar! We’ve gotten more new clients than ever, and even a few new stylists. Social connection events at our salon are packed and everyone seems to enjoy them. More and more people drop in just because they like to be here. I truly believe this has been a splash of good social health for the community.”
